Grade A warehouse network

Avalon Group in joint venture with the British investment fund completed the largest project of class "A" warehouses construction under the brand «Megalogix» on the territory of Russia. 

In a joint partnership three large logistic parks were built, including "Megalogix Saint-Petersburg (56 000 m2), "Megalogix Rostov-on-Don" (100 000 m2), "Megalogix-Novosibirsk" (121 000 m2), which were commissioned on time in 2008 and 2009. Premises were pre-leased by major market players - large retailers, logistics service providers, companies of FMCG sector, including Auchan, X5 Retail Group, FM Logistic, Avalon Logistics and others.

For successful implementation of projects Avalon performed a full range of real estate development work:

• attracted a strategic investor who has provided forward funding
• completed selection of land and long-term lease of sites
• conducted projecting and obtained tecnical conditions and construction permits 
• organized construction process
• put warehouses into operation

In November 2009, warehouse complexes, built under Megalogix brand name, were sold to a strategic investor.
